Who We Are
At Kinship Equine Therapy, we believe in the power of connection between people, horses, and the healing process that unfolds when it all comes together. Kinship is built on compassion, experience, and a genuine desire to see families thrive. We are founded by three local businesswomen who share a deep love for horses and a commitment to helping others.
Our founders, Vanessa Lucero, Donna Abreu, and Serena Montoya, each have their own families, a passion for helping others, and bring unique strengths and professional expertise to the heart of our program.
Kinship Equine Therapy was born from a simple, lifelong dream: a little girl’s wish to have a horse. Today, co‑founder Vanessa Lucero has turned that personal aspiration into a powerful mission, sharing the profound, therapeutic connection of horses with our community. We believe that true personal growth happens when you feel supported and deeply connected. Our vision is to foster a strong community where every individual is inspired and equipped to pursue "more for themselves" and, by extension, "more for our community." Through the unique power of Equine‑Assisted Therapy, we offer a path for self‑discovery, healing, and connection. This is more than therapy; it is a chance to step into a shared dream and an opportunity to invest in your personal well‑being through the partnership of these magnificent animals. We are here to build a supportive circle, helping our members find the strength, clarity, and community they are seeking.
